World Turtle Day

According to my special days calendar, May 23 is World Turtle Day!  I have found some great free resource links to follow as we learn about turtles in our homeschool with a one day only mini unit study.

Lapbook from here

Much about turtles, conservation, rescue, and more here

More cool turtle stuff  here

Something challenging for an art project here

Turtle jokes for Z from here!-6460.html

“What kind of jokes do turtles tell? SHELL-arious ones!”

And finally a notebooking page for a journal entry about turtles from here

It looks like we’ve got science, language arts, computer lab, art, and fun covered for our homeschool summer school today!

Sister Betty Jo, thanks for stopping by my site, I truly appreciate it especially since I’m so new to THIS style media! On to your post above; I thought BING was just putting pretty pictures on my desktop!! Who would have known!? My wife and I share a great big love for ALL of God’s creatures, we watch many of the cable channels that deal with nature, animals and such so your links were a complete joy!!
God bless so much, Sis (in Christ!)

Thanks for visiting, Bonnie Rose. The turtle links were fun and we learned quite a bit, too. I hope you’ll come back and visit again!
